Edward Jabob Senner

Edward Jacob "Nick" Senner, 91 of Lodi passed away on October 23, 2005 in a 
local hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Senner was born in Lodi on March 14, 
1914 to Richard and Paulena Ruhl Senner from Dreispitz, Germany.

He spent his lifetime in the area and married Adeline Nitschke in September of 
1933. He retired after 46 years as a rancher foreman for Canal Ranch in 
Thornton. He was a member of Galt Seventh-day Adventist Church and a Volunteer 
Firefighter in Thornton. He loved going to the montains and "The Cabin," and 
traveling and seeing what is going on.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathlene Foley and son-in-law, Mike of Galt; 
sister, Loraine Mae Carey of Columbia; brother, Robert Senner of Sacramento; 
grandchildren, Grant and Beth Senner and Susan Foley. 

He lost his life partner, Adeline Nitschke Senner in 2003; his son, Gordon 
Senner in 1990; sisters, Marie Merryfield and Pauline Florance; brothers, 
Reinhardt "Mike" Senner, Alexander "Biff" Senner, Leon "Ponce" Senner, Bob 
Senner and Earl Senner. 

Chapel service will be held at Ben Salas Funeral Home Thursday, October 27 at 
10:00 a.m. with Pastor Loyd Henderson officiating. Visitation will be from 8:30 
to service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to 
donor's favorite charity. Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
