Nettie Lenora Smith

July 6, 1944 — Feb. 5, 2006

A memorial service will be Saturday for Nettie Lenora Smith, 61, who died 
Sunday at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa.

A native of Miami, Ariz., Mrs. Smith lived in Stockton 51 years. She was a 
nurse’s aide for 20 years for various health groups. She enjoyed knitting, 
crocheting and taking trips to Reno, Nev., and Lake Tahoe.

She loved spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Louis Campbell of Tracy, Emery 
Campbell of Napa, Vickie Savio of Stockton; sister, Marlene Salerno of 
Stockton; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Earl Smith, who 
died in 2002, and youngest child, James May in 1994.

Saturday’s memorial service will begin at noon at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. 
Highland Ave. Interment will be private. 

Contributions in Mrs. Smith’s name may be sent to the Scottish Rite Masonic 
Center, 33 W. Alpine Ave., Stockton 95204.
