Marcella Steele
Marcella Steele, 92, of Galt, died on Oct. 30 of natural causes. She was born 
on May 13, 1913, in Webb, W. Va.

Mrs. Steele moved to Manhattan Beach with her family in 1941, then to Sun 
Valley in 1963, Lake Isabella in 1979, and to her daughter's ranch in Galt in 
1989. 

She enjoyed making pies, quilts and afghans.





Marcella Steele
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Steele; her children, Regina 
Stilfield and Boyd Billingsley; a sister, Nellie Judd; a brother, Tom Lynch; 10 
grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son, Johnny Steele, and a daughter, Betty Peek.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Galt Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ben Salas Funeral Home.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
