Milton Schmierer 
Milton J. Schmierer, 84, of Fresno and formerly of Lodi, died April 21 in 
Fresno. He was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Lodi.

Mr. Schmierer was employed by Dole, Inc. as a machinist. 

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Schmierer; daughters, Marcia Schmierer and 
Marlys Stafford; sons, Dennis Schmierer and Larry Schmierer; brother, Robert 
Schmierer; sisters, Irene, Betty Lou and Diana; two grandsons and two great-
granddaughters. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cornelia Ave. 
Southern Baptist Church, 2405 N. Cornelia Ave., Fresno. Visitation will be held 
from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Wildrose Chapel & Funeral Home, 916 E. 
Divisadero, Fresno.

Wildrose Chapel & Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
