Charley Edwin Shahan 
Feb. 19, 1936 - March 30, 2005
 
Charley Edwin Shahan, Jr., 69, of Sun City, AZ, passed away March 30, 2005 in 
Phoenix, AZ. He was born February 19, 1936 to Charlie and Thelma (Ball) Shahan. 
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Korea and worked as a roofer. He retired to 
Sun City from California, four years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; mother, Thelma Crisp; daughters, Kathleen 
and Darla; sons, Mark and Douglas and step-son, Harold; brothers, Steve, Jerry, 
Ron and Rick and sisters, Vena, Zetta and Judy. 12 grandchildren and 1 great-
grandchild also survive him.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to 
service on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at Menke Funeral Home Chapel, 12420 N. 
103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
