Dorothy Sievers 
Dorothy Helen Sievers, 87, of Acampo, died March 30 in a Stockton convalescent 
hospital. She was born Dorothy Helen Billings on Sept. 26, 1917, in Douglas, 
Ariz.

Mrs. Sievers worked as a beautician until her retirement. She was a member of 
the Lady Bugs Club and the American Businesswomen Association in Stockton. She 
enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her daughter, Janice McCarthy, of Acampo; sons, Gordon 
Hudson, of Kailua, Hawaii, and David Hudson, of San Ramon; sister, Marie Holt, 
of Concord; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Sievers in 1977; sisters, 
Ruth Santos and Hazel Repetti; and brother, Warren Billings.

A graveside committal will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at San Joaquin Catholic 
Cemetery, Harding Way at Cemetery Lane, Stockton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Preferred Choice, 1470 Enea 
Circle, Suite 1745, Concord, CA 94520.
