Catherine Smith 
Catherine Elaine Smith, 57, of Lodi, died July 6 in Lodi. She was born Aug. 12, 
1947, in Eureka.

Ms. Smith was a resident of The Ashley Place since 1993. She enjoyed sewing, 
crocheting, playing bingo and winning the food prizes. She also enjoyed 
spending time with her best friend, Judy, her family and her brothers' pets. 

She is survived by her brothers, Wayne Smith and Warren Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Galt Cemetery. Visitation 
will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Ben Salas Funeral Home.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
