Margaret L. Starin 
April 8, 1926 - April 2, 2005 
 

Margaret L. Starin, was born April 8, 1926 and entered into rest in Lodi, CA on 
Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the age of 78. 
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Starin. Together, they 
owned the Culligan Soft-water business of Tracy.
She is survived by her children, Melanie (Starin) and Rollin Kiel of Galt and 
Robert Starin of Modesto. She has 2 grandchildren, Kevin and Rachelle Kiel of 
Galt. She is also survived by her twin sister, La Verne Shrum of San Jose and 
her niece, Lynn Shrum of Long Beach.
Services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the First 
United Methodist Church in Tracy.
Contributions may be made in her honor to American Cancer Society.
