Richard Stolcis 
Richard S. Stolcis, 80, of Galt, died April 5 in a local hospital of natural 
causes following a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 8, 1925, in Minnesota.

Mr. Stolcis lived in Livermore for 23 years and then in Galt for 15 years. He 
was employed by Lawrence Livermore Lab for 23 years until his retirement. He 
enjoyed repairing antique clocks. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marian Stolcis, of Galt; step-son, 
Jerry Crowley, of Redondo Beach; step-daughter, Cynthia George, of Nevada; 
sister, Jeanne, of Canada; brother, Louis, of Virginia; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Richard Stolcis.

There will be no services.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
