To know the comfort of my Dad,
Not just by imagination. 
To be with you on Father's Day, 
Not alone at your grave. 
To hear them call you Grandpa, 
Not only to a picture. 
To be with you once again, 
And not with you when you left. 
Until we meet again, 
I'll ache with thoughts of you.
