Mary Toy

Dec. 27, 1916 — Dec. 27, 2005

A memorial service will be Tuesday for longtime Tracy resident Mary Toy, 89, 
who died Monday at New Hope Care Center.

Born in Kittanning, Pa., Mrs. Toy lived in Tracy 25 years. She was a 
bookkeeper for 25 years for her family business. She liked to watch game 
shows. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed taking care of her family and 
hosting parties.

Mrs. Toy is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert L. Toy, of Tracy; 
children, Robert J. Toy of Washington, Keith L. Toy of Guam, Shanda M. Rickman 
of Escalon; sibling, Audrey Barr-Harding of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kelly 
Toy, Mark Toy and Jennifer Toy, all of Washington, David Toy of San Francisco, 
Alan Toy of Saipan, Myra Cruz of California; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Clark A. Toy.

Tuesday’s memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 
101 Berverdor Ave, in Tracy. Interment will be private. 

Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements.

Headquarters, P.O. Box 269, Alexandria, VA 22313.
