John Henry Thomas 
November 11, 1925 - April 5, 2005



John Henry Thomas passed on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at his residence in Stockton 
at the age of 79. John was born November 19, 1925 in Watertown, New York. He 
served in the Navy CB's from 1943 - 1946 and received several medals of honor. 
Throughout his life he was a salesperson, a business owner and an inventor. His 
passions were golfing, gaming and long-haul truck driving with his wife. John 
will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving friend and wife, Marilyn Moran Thomas of 57 years; 
his three children, Stephen Thomas of Stockton, Marcia Tisdale of Lodi and 
Stacey Smith of Stockton; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, April 8, at 10:00 a.m. at St. George's 
Catholic Church, 120 West 5th Street, Stockton.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up under John Henry Thomas at 
Financial Credit Center Union in Stockton
