Jerry Thompson 
Jerry E. (Sonny) Thompson Jr., 75, died Aug. 13 in Lodi. He was born Sept. 23, 
1929, in Haskell, Texas, and was a dairyman and beekeeper for more than 50 
years. He also worked in the construction business.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Thompson, a daughter, 
Rebecca Thompson, and a sister, Billie Lang.

He is survived by two daughters, Terry Roberts and Jennifer Warmerdam; two 
sons, Rusty Thompson and Randy Thompson; seven grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Thompson's life will be held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1710 
Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
