It has been a year since you were taken from us. It seems like time has passed 
so quickly...but our grief has not. We will never forget you and we will always 
long for you every day for the rest of our lives. 
We miss you and we love you always.

Joe, it has been a long year since you left us. Everyday I see your smile when 
I close my eyes or when I look at your son. I hear your voice soothing and 
comforting. You loved us all so deeply. You showed us that life is to be lived 
and enjoyed every day. Because you gave so much while you were with us, we have 
so many wonderful memories to relive and savor for the rest of our lifetimes. 
Something in each day reminds us of you - maybe it's seeing someone you knew, 
going somewhere you've gone, hearing music you danced to, eating something you 
craved, a trait of yours seen in your grandchildren, even a ride thru the Delta 
on a cool spring day. So many memories. In our hearts we know you are watching 
over us, guiding us in your unique way and one day lighting the path we must 
all take. We love you. We miss you. Thanks for being our very special Joe.
