Totman December 14, 1919 - March 8, 2005 Mervyn W. Totman, 85, passed away in Stockton, CA on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. He was born in Rio Vista, CA on December 14, 1919. His firm performed heavy construction in Stockton for 40 years. He served when his country called in the 4th Engineer Amphibious Brigade as a commander of a landing craft while in the US Army in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Karl Ross Post #16 in Stockton, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sons in Retirement and YMI. Peggy Totman, his beloved wife of 60 years, precedes him in death. He is survived by his 2 children, Patrick Totman (Nancy) of Scottsdale, AZ and Meg Borelli (Michael) of Stockton; his grandchildren, Nicole Rosenbusch, Dominic Borelli, Brenna Borelli, Michael Totman, Jarrod Totman and Jason Choate and by 3 great-grandchildren, Angela, Andrea and Alyssia Munoz. He also is survived by a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marikay and Bill Snyder of Stockton. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, March 14, at 10 am at the Cathedral of the Annunciation: Rose and Van Buren in Stockton Visitation: 1-5 pm. Sunday, March, 13, at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Ave., Stockton. Memorials: In Lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine, Stockton, 95204.
