Mildred Trembly-Masterson 
Mildred Trembly-Masterson, 86, of Escalon and formerly of Lodi, died April 13 
in a Modesto convalescent hospital. She was born Mildred Downing on Aug. 30, 
1918, in Tryon, Neb.

Mrs. Trembly-Masterson lived in Lodi and then moved to Escalon eight years ago. 
She attended the Escalon Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, 
the mountains and camping. 

She is survived by her son, Charles Trembly, of Rockport, Texas; daughter, Eva 
Bellinger, of Escalon; sister, Edith Smolik, of Lincoln, Neb.; three 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Trembly, in 1992.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Burwood Cemetery, 28320 E. 
River Road, Escalon. Interment will be held at Burwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Escalon Ambulance, P.O. Box 212, Escalon, 
CA 95320.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
