Mr. Turbetti was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Philippines with the US Army. He was a farmer, and cultivated onions and peppers. He was a member of the Italian Gardeners Club. He is survived by his brothers, Arthur Turbetti (Marion), and Joseph "Joe" Turbetti (Aurelia) both of Stockton. Two siblings precede him in death, Donald Turbetti and Julia Podesta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews living in CA, OR, WA, TX and AZ. Family and friends are invited to a rosary, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2005 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 5882 Ashley Lane in Stockton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 13 and Thursday, April 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St, Stockton. In Lieu of Flowers, Spiritual Bouquets and/or Donations to the St. MIchael's Building fund: 5882 Ashley Lane, Stockton 95215, are preferred.
