Vasquez Nov. 25, 1927 - March 10, 2005 Guadalupe Navvarro Vasquez entered into the Lord's peaceful rest on Thursday, March 10, 2005. born on November 25, 1927 in Sonora Mexico, she lived in Stockton for over fifty years and was active at the Cathedral of Annunciation, Spanish Mass where she served as a Eucharist Minister and a Lector for over 25 years. Lupe worked seasonally in the cannery and was well respected by her co- workers. Lupe was the youngest of the Navvarro family and is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Porfirio, her six children, with whom she remained loving and caring until the end, fourteen grandchildren who she adored and one beautiful great-grandson. She is remembered as a mother who sacrificed and strived to educate her children. Together, with her husband, they brought forth the American Dream to their children. Family and friends are welcome to say goodbye to this graceful and loving woman. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton. A Rosary will be held on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Annunciation, Rose and Van Buren, Stockton, CA. Commital: San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
