Vindiola March 23, 1915 - April 9, 2005 Mrs. Margaret J. Vindiola, age 90, of Stockton, entered into rest on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at a local hospital, following an illness. She was born in the Northern California town of Maxwell, the daughter of Isaac Sanchez and Juanita Guadalajara Sanchez. Her family later moved to Jackson, where she attended local schools and graduated from Jackson High School. In Jackson, she met Jesus Martinez Vindiola, and they were married at the Catholic Church in Jackson. Margaret worked as a cannery worker for almost 18 years. She was a devout Christian woman who practiced and taught high morals and principles to her children and family. She was Catechism teacher for over 25 years and enjoyed cooking, hosting family gatherings, ceramics, cake decorating and doing custom upholstery and home decorating. She was an avid 49ers and Sacramento Kings fan. Her family will always cherish memories of her compassion, generous and loving and kind nature. Margaret is survived by her husband, Jesus M. Vindiola; four sons, Larry, Andy, Raymond of Stockton, and Jesus Vindiola (and his wife Connie) of Valley Springs. Also survived by nine grandchildren: Rosie, Ronnie, Andy Jr., Sandra, Robert, Trisha, Denise, Jesus III and Joey; twelve great-grandchildren, Andrea, Victoria, Mario, Yoni, Robert Jr., Selena, Isaac, Gabriel, Faith, Micha and Vanessa. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Vindiola in 1964, three sisters, Mary Flores, Annie and Rafaela Sanchez, and one brother, Cecil Sanchez. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends. Friends are invited to attend visitations on Thursday, April 14, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California Street in Stockton. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for her repose at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2005 at St. Linus Catholic Church, 2620 So. B Street in Stockton, followed by a graveside committal service will be at 11:30 a.m. San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. To honor her memory, contributions may to a charity of the donor's choice.
