Stockton Daily Evening Record
Old-Time Resident Lodi Dist. Passes
LODI OFFICE STOCKTON RECORD, Aug 3.—Mrs. Mary M. Woodson, for 44 years a 
resident near here, died in a local hospital this morning after an extended 
illness.  She was a native of California, aged 56 years.  All her life had 
been spent in this part of the state.  Besides the husband, J.G. Woodson, she 
is survived by the following daughters:  Mrs. Ellen Grubbs, Los Angeles;  Mrs. 
Rebekah McNeal, Stockton;  Mrs. Viaetta Childers, Stockton.  The funeral will 
be held Monday at 2 o’clock, O.H. Wells & Son in charge.  Rev. Benjamin Smith 
conducting the services.  Burial will be made in Lodi Cemetery.
