Woodson, 85, who was brought to Lodi by his parents when he was 2 years old and lived here until he moved to Stockton two years ago, died at his home there Saturday after a long illness. He was a native of Diamond Springs. He joined the Galt Lodge of Odd Fellows in 1881. In 1884 he married Miss Mary M. Brown, and in 1894 joined the Lodi First Christian Church, in which he served in many offices. He is survived by his widow. He was the father of the late Miss Evelyn Woodson. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel of the Wells Funeral Home, Dr. Benjamin Smith, pastor of the Stockton First Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Lodi Cemetery, with the Galt IOOF Lodge in charge of committal services.
