Norma Wagenman 
Norma R. Wagenman, 82, of Lodi, died Aug. 21 in Lodi. She was born Sept. 30, 
1923, in Orange County.

Mrs. Wagenman moved to Lodi at the age of 12, where she graduated from Lodi 
High School and attended Lodi Business College. She married Ben Wagenman in 
1942. She worked as a volunteer at Woodbridge Middle School for 10 years and 
then worked as the school secretary for 27 years until her retirement in 1986. 

She was a member of the Lodi Garden Club and was a volunteer for the Lodi 
Zinfandel Club at Lodi Memorial Hospital.





Norma Wagenman
She enjoyed cruising the Delta in their boat as well as fishing. Following 
retirement, she enjoyed golf and made a hole in one at Landpark Golf Course 
Number three in Sacramento.

She is survived by her husband, Ben R. Wagenman, of Lodi; son, Bruce Wagenman, 
of LaCentre, Wash.; daughter, Noreen Freund, of Sacramento; three grandchildren 
and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Cherokee Memorial Park. 
There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Northern 
California, 105 S. Washington St., Lodi, CA 95240.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
