Doris Wallen 
Doris Cleona Wallen, 79, of Palm Desert and formerly of Lodi, died July 10 in 
Palm Desert. She was born Doris Cleona Radtke on May 24, 1926, in Mountain 
Lake, Minn.

Mrs. Wallen married Lewis Wallen in 1950 in Delano. She was a homemaker for 50 
years and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. 

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Wallen, of El Cajon; son, Mike Wallen, 
of Indio; sister, Geraldine Miller, of Loomis; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Wallen in 1989; and daughter, 
Pamela McCreery in 2002.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church 
in Indio. Inurnment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

Fitzhenry Funeral Home in Palm Desert is in charge of arrangements.
