Doris Wammock 
Doris May Wammock, 76, of Lodi, died April 5 in Lodi. She was born April 7, 
1928, in Esparto, where she was raised and attended local schools.

Mrs. Wammock married Richard Marvin Wammock in 1949 in Eureka, and they resided 
in Garberville for a brief time before relocating to San Francisco, and then 
the big island of Hawaii. She and her husband moved to Lodi seven years ago. 
She was baptized into the Lutheran faith while in Hawaii. She and her husband 
spent many winters at the Black Meadow Landing at Lake Havasu. She enjoyed 
crafts, crocheting, puzzles and traveling to Lake Tahoe and Reno. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard M. Wammock, of Lodi; son, Kenneth 
Michael Wammock, of Minnesota; daughters, Lynn Belcher, of New Mexico and 
Eileen Wilson, of Lodi; sisters, Marjorie Campbell, of Moraga and Karen 
Barmore, of Mt. Shasta; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Tower Park Resort 
Club House with the Rev. Russ Creydt of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. 
There will be no visitation and inurnment will be private.

Lodi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
