Watters, 89, of Jamestown and formerly of Lodi, died April 30 of natural causes in his home. He was born April 27, 1917, in Champaign, Ill. Mr. Watters served in the Army from 1943 to 1946, and was a World War II Veteran. He lived in Lodi for 33 years, where he was employed as a rollman at General Mills for 36 years. Following his retirement, he and his wife relocated to Jamestown. He was a member of the American Legion, the National Rifle Association and the Veterans of Foreign Affairs. He enjoyed boating, camping and traveling. He also enjoyed going skydiving for his 87th birthday. Leo Watters He is survived by his wife, Constance Watters, of Jamestown; son, Ken Watters, of Lodi; daughters, Sandra Watters, of Santa Cruz, Patty Phillips, of Missouri, and Linda Varble, of Jamestown; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Darlene Watters; and four brothers. A private memorial service will be held at his home.
