Edna Weller 
Edna Virginia Weller, 86, of Galt, died April 25 in Elk Grove. She was born May 
28, 1918, in Venice Island.

Mrs. Weller moved to the Galt area 45 years ago. She was employed by the 
Community Hospital in Lodi as a cook for 20 years, and also worked with Meals-
on-Wheels. She was a member of Lutheran Church Shepherd of the Valley in Galt. 
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting and traveling. 

She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Bartz, of Nuevo and Shirley Gorden, of 
Galt; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Christian Weller; son, Albert Weller; 
and grandson, Chuck Gorden.

There is no visitation and committal will be private.
