John P. Wetter 
August 11, 1918 - April 3, 2005
 

John P. Wetter passed away Sunday, April 3, 2005 in Stockton, CA. He was 86 
years old. He was born in Iowa on August 11, 1918. He lived in Lodi from 1953 - 
1994. John then moved to Stockton in 1994 where he spent the rest of his life. 
John worked as a sales person selling bar supplies for 45 years. 
He is survived by his loving children, Terry D. Wetter of Lodi and Rhonda A. 
Magness of Stockton; also surviving are 2 brothers, Marion Wetter of Oceanside, 
CA, Cleo Wetter of Stockton; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Donations can be sent to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, 
CA 95204-1953 or the National Federation of the Blind, 5982 S. Land Park Drive, 
Sacramento, CA 95822 or the First Baptist Church, 3535 North El Dorado St., 
Stockton, CA 95204.
There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate John's life on Friday, April 8, 
2005 at 1:00 p.m. The service will take place at The First Baptist Church, 3535 
N. El Dorado St., Stockton, CA. There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 
7, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The visitation will be at Cherokee Memorial 
Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA. Private Interment will be at 
Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, CA.
