DeLoy J. White 
Feb. 22, 1923- February 26, 2005



DeLoy J. White of Stockton, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2005 at a 
Stockton hospital at the age of 82. Mr. White was born February 22, 1923 in 
Beaver, Utah and came to California at the age of 9 months. An educator, Mr. 
White was a former San Joaquin County Teacher, Principal and Superintendent on 
the Delta, mostly at Holt Union School District retiring from teaching in 1984. 
A United States Army Air Force veteran, he served during WWII. Mr White 
graduated from Cal Berkeley in 1950 with a B.S. degree in Business 
Administration. He started teaching in 1954 and attended the University of the 
Pacific obtaining a Masters Degree in Education in 1962. Mr. White was a member 
of Phi Delta Kappa & Phi Sigma Kappa.
Parents: Raymond DeLoy White and Wanda Laree Patterson and a brother, William 
White precede him in death. He is survived by children, Dennis White of Lodi, 
Rande White of Stockton and Lori Aguilar of Lewiston and grandchildren Tabitha, 
Alexis, Matthew, Dominique and Claire.
At his request private services were held. Inurnment at San Joaquin Valley 
National Cemetery, Gustine, California.
