She lived most of her life in Walnut Grove, CA where she was involved in the Courtland Church and Garden Club. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy D. Mayes, husband John P. Wiedmann, daughter Marilyn Mayes, brother in law Jim Lewis. She is survived by her sisters; Jeanne Lewis of Shingle Springs, Bernice Rehana and brother in law Lee Rehana of Medford, her children; Tom Mayes and Barbara Buckley of Courtland, John Wiedmann Jr. of Bakersfield and son in law Jim Buckley of Courtland. Her grandchildren; Wendy Buckley Stokes, Marcee Yount, Amy Buckley, Jimmy Buckley of Lodi, Katie Buckley of Sacramento, grandson in law Mike Stokes of Lodi, three great grandchildren; Austin Yount, Elainee and Jacob Stokes of Lodi, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial celebration of her life, on Wednesday, May 25, at 2:00 at South East Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the Sacramento Children's Home, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or a charity of your choice.
