Clarence Williams 
 
Clarence "Mervyn" Williams, 94, of Galt, died Aug. 27 in a local convalescent 
hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1910, in Modesto, where he was raised.

Mr. Williams worked as a route delivery driver for Herman's Deli in San 
Francisco for 30 years. 

He lived in the Galt area for 32 years and very active in the Senior Citizens 
Club.

He is survived by his granddaughters, Dineen Lucido and Linda Lucido, of Los 
Banos.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Williams; and daughter, Marilyn 
Ludico.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Galt Cemetery with 
Pastor Rob Patterson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 
a.m. Thursday at Ben Salas Funeral Home.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
