Christopher Wise 
Christopher N. Wise, 74, of Lodi, died Aug. 10. He was born April 1, 1931, in 
Quincy, Mass.

Mr. Wise was raised in Boston. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. in Japan in 
the early 1950s. Following college, he worked as an entertainment journalist 
for various publications for 25 years until his retirement. 

He is survived by his step-daughter, Carol Carpenter, of Sacramento; and 
brother, William Wise, of Casselberry, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John T. Wise.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at 
Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
