Ruth Francis Woodhams 
June 20, 1907 - March 24, 2005

Ruth Francis Woodhams, age 97, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2005. Ruth 
lived in Tracy for 12 years, born and raised in Sonora, member of the Lepape 
Family in Tuolumne Co. Member of the Tuolumne Co. Garden Club, tuolumne 
Historical Society, Member of he Tuolumne and Sonora Methodist Church, Past 
Matron and 75 year member of the Eastern Star, Past active member and secretary 
of the Farm Buereau. Owned and operated the Kiddy Shop in Sonora for many 
years. (at that time it was located in the Sonora Inn). Graduate of Sonora 
Union High School. Taught herself to read and self educated. Enjoyed raising 
orchids, loved reading, puzzels, gambling and gardening. Survivors: son, Harry 
and (Marilyn) Lepape of Gig Harbor, WA; daughters; Ellen and (Erik) Gustafson 
of Tracy, Kathleen and (Robert) Ritz of Don Pedro; 15 grandchildren; numerous 
great-grandchildren. Preceded by first husband, Harry Lepape Sr.; second 
husband, Lester Woodhams; daughter, Ruthie Frances Lepape and sister, Julia 
Houx.
Donations: Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., 
Sacramento, CA 95817. Services: No visitation, Chapel Serice, Thursday, 2:00 
p.m. at Terzich & Wilson Burial Masonic Cemetery.
