Ruth Young
Ruth P. Young, 83, of Stockton and formerly of Lodi, died Nov. 1. She was born 
Oct. 12, 1922.

Mrs. Young graduated from Lodi High School. She worked at the Port of Stockton 
during World War II. She married David A. Young in 1949 and they made their 
home in Stockton. 

She was a partner with Eggleston and Young TV and Electronics and was also a 
homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors and spending time with 
her granddaughter, Nicole A. Tutt Coty.





Ruth Young
She is survived by her husband, David A. Young; daughter, Leslie A. Kurtz; son, 
Dennis A. Young; sisters, Phyllis Dahlinger and Ann Smith; and one 
granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Roberta Cadwallader, Pauline K. 
North, Dorothy Mack, Alberta Koch and John Koch.

Inurnment will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer 
Society, 207 Alpine Road, Stockton, CA 95204.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
