Adam Zelmer, 92, Dies in Hospital
  Adam Zelmer, a former Lodi residend, passed away in a Sacramento hospital 
yesterday morning at the age of 92, after a short illness.
  Born in South Russia, Mr. Zelmer spent most of his life as a farmer in 
Canada and North Dakota.  After his retirement, he spent many years as a Lodi 
resident.
  Shortly after the death of his wife, the late Karolina Zelmer, he moved to 
Galt, where he resided until his hospitalization.  He was a member of the 
First Baptist Church of Lodi.
  Mr. Zelmer was the father of Elizabeth Bity of Bismark, N.D.; Adam Zelmer of 
High River, Alberta, Canada; and Philip Zelmer of Mission City, British 
Columbia.  Twenty grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren also survive.
  Funeral services are pending at the East-Pine Funeral Home.
