Leonard G. Zwingelberg

  Leonard G. Zwingelberg, 97 passed away on Monday April 25, 2005. He was born 
July 21, 1907 in Wentworth, South Dakota.
  He grew up on Minnesota and South Dakota. He was a grain farmer in South 
Dakota for thirty years. In 1954 he moved to Stockton where he worked for the 
Stockton Union Stockyard for twentythree years. 
  He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church most recently as a member of 
St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Stockton.
  His wife, Clara Zwingelberg preceded him in death in 1955. 
  He is survived by his children Gene Zwingelberg of Lodi, Douglas D. 
Zwingelberg of Stockton and Myra K. Scott of South Dakota; nine grandchildren; 
fourteen great grandchildren and a brother, Gerhard Zwingelberg of South Dakota.
  He was preceded in death by siblings Emma Wagner, Julia Wilkins, Mille 
Drebing, Fred Zwingelberg and August Zwingelberg.
  Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at St. Andrew's 
Lutheran Church 4910 Claremont Ave., Stockton on Monday, May 2, 2005 aat 1:00 
p.m. Visitation will be held at De Young Memorial Chapel on Saturday.
  De Young Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
