“MRS. JOHN ALMS DEAD.
(From Tuesday’s Daily.)
Mrs. John Alms passed away at her home at Cambria at 9:30 yesterday morning.  Deceased was formerly Miss Jenne Cantua.  She was a sister of Mrs. C. E. Murphy and Mrs. William Albert of this city.”

Mrs. Thorndyke and lady friend were in town today from San Simeon Bay, and attended the funeral of Mrs. J. Aim, which took place at the Catholic grave yard at 1 o'clock. 

Our townspeople have again been saddened for the Reaper of Death has called, and taken from our number a long known and much respected lady, the wife of Mr. John Aim, who before her marriage was Miss Jennie Cantua. Mrs. Aim was educated here in our public schools, she therefore has grown up with the people of her age about here, who all have nothing but kind words to say of the departed. She has an aged mother, with sisters and brothers and other relatives, including a husband to mourn her demise.
