Paolo Dughl Expires.

Paolo Dughi died at his home on the Goldtree ranch near this city yesterday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Dughi had been ill for some time with cancer of 
the stomach and had returned home only a short time ago from San Francisco, 
where he had been under treatment at the German hospital. Deceased was a 
native of Swiizerland and was 41 years of age. He had resided near this city 
for the past four years on the Goldtree ranch where he conducted a dairy. 
Prior to moving to this city he was an extensive dairy rancher at Cayucos.

Page, 4, Column 5:

DUGHI - At the Cuesta, Oct. 26, 1898, Paolo Dughi, a native of Switzerland, 
aged 41 years. Funeral will take place Friday morning from the residence of 
John Klie near this city at 10 a. m., thence to the Catholic church for 
services. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Additional Comments:
Paul Dughi was married to Mary/Maria and they had at least eight children:  
Robert, Erwin, Tillie, Frank, Dorina, Minnie Lucy, Alvia and Angelina B Dughi 
Tartaglia, wife of Giglio G Tartaglia.
