Death Summons George Martin
George Allen Martin, a retired Seventh Day Adventist elder from Fresno, died 
Saturday in a local hospital following a long illness. He had been a resident 
of Grover Beach for one and one-half years.  Born in South Carolina April 17, 
1878, he is survived by his wife, Myrtle, of Grover City; a brother, Arthur, 
of Fresno; three sons, three daughters, three brothers and one sister, all in 
the east. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Seventh Day 
Adventist church, Arroyo Grande. Wood Funeral chapel is in charge of 
arrangements.  Final graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at 
the Mountain View cemetery in Fresno, under the direction of the Lyle Funeral 
chapel.
