CARMEL MURPHY. Mrs. Carmel Murphy, who has been ill for several months died at her home in this city Tuesday night. Deceased was the daughter of Mrs. Isabel Cantua of Cambria and mother of Raymond, Robert, Hazel, Charles and Geo. W. Murphy, and sister of Mrs. Wm Albert of this city and Fred, Joseph, William and Luis Cantua of Cambria. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from her late home at 1430 Carmel street with services at Catholic church at 3:30 p m. P R. S I. Council, of which deceased had been an active member, held services according to their ritual and at Catholic church afterwards the Rev. Fr. Riordan officiated. The S. P R. S I Council ac companied the funeral procession to Catholic cemetery where the final service of their order was held and the remains consigned to their last resting place The pall bearers were Messrs Chas Foxen, Patrick Hughes, Wm. Albert, Sam Green, R. Budar and Judge Mallagh.
