It belonged to the Santa Fe Dairy at one time. It now belongs to J. L. Pereira, who uses it for hay storage. The barn is made entirely of wood and has a concrete floor and foundations. The walls are covered with random width board that is white washed. The roof is supported mainly by a ring of columns at the inside of the feeding trough. The majority of the thrust from the roof is taken by diagonal members from the ridge beams down to the main columns just before the floor. There is no tension ring used here. The roof is currently covered with asphalt shingles. The floor is roughly thirty-two feet on a side, and seventy-seven feet between parallel sides. Sources: J. L.
