Funeral Services For Local Woman:  

Funeral services were held today for Mrs. Elizabeth Menard, California Drive, 
Burlingame, who passed away yesterday in a San Francisco hospital.  Mrs. 
Menard was a native of Missouri, coming to Burlingame after her marriage.  
Mrs. Menard was actively identified in the affairs of the Burlingame Baptist 
church and was a one time the president of the Women's auxiliary. She is 
survived by her husband, Charles Menard; her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Farwell, and 
her brother, Frank L. Ryan.

Published in the San Mateo Times on November 2, 1933.  Mary's first marriage 
was to James Albert McDonald in 1910 in Missouri; her second marriage was to 
Charles Menard.  She had one child, Dorothy Frances McDonald born in 1912.

Her parents were James Ryan and Martha "Mattie" Scott of Missouri; Mary 
Elizabeth was born in Marshall, Saline County, Missouri. The newspaper article 
incorrectly referenced her daughter, Dorothy Farwell, as her mother.
