Said parties being of sufficient age to be capable of contracting marriage. In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the Superior Court of said County, this 27th day of Nov A.D, 1895. Signed: J. H. MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE State of California, County of San Mateo I hereby certify that I believe the facts stated in the above license to be true, and that, upon due inquiry, there appears to be no legal impediments to the marriage of said JOHN RYAN and MAGGIE BEWICK that said parties were joined in marriage by me, on the 28th day of November A.D. 1895 in San Mateo said County and State; that W.W.CASEY a resident of San Mateo, County of San Mateo State of California and MARY MURPHY a resident of San Mateo County of San Mateo, State of California, were present as witnesses of said ceremony. The father and mother of said JOHN RYAN were both natives of the State of Ohio, The father and mother of said MAGGIE BEWICK were both natives of Scotland, neither of these persons have been married before.
