Santa Barbara News-Press, September 19, 1943 
"FUNERAL MONDAY FOR ELMER E. HARRISON.

Funeral services will be held Monday for Elmer E. Harrison, Santa Barbara 
resident for 13 years who died Friday night at his home 122 1/2 West Valerio 
street.

Mr. Harrison was born in Illinois in 1863.  His wife, Mrs. Harriet Harrison, 
died in 1931.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Eva Evers, Santa Barbara; one son, Walter 
D. Harrison, Seattle; six sisters, Mrs. H. C. Loudenbeck, Miss Isabelle and 
Miss Pearl Harrison, of of Beverly Hills; Mrs. Clifton Topham, Santa Maria; 
Mrs. Francis Hitchcock, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Elmer Kinkade, Iowa, and one 
brother, Harry C. Harrison, Iowa." END

(Sunday).  Page A2.  Elmer Harrison was the son of William Henry Harrison and 
Orpha Ann (Carrell) Harrison.  He married Harriet Grace Poyneer on May 25, 1892 
in Montour, Tama county, Iowa.  He and his wife are buried in the Goleta 
Cemetery.
