Dinner Party

   A very enjoyable dinner party was given by Mr. and Mrs. Ward on Xmas day.  It
is the fifth annual dinner in which their friends and relatives participated.
   It is the custom of this gathering to have a Xmas tree but this year they
enjoyed being entertained otherwise. Little Agnes Ward helped to entertain by
singing: Rock-a-by Baby in the tree top and Little feet be Careful.
   The reunion was of course, enjoyed by the several families.  Those present
were as follows:  Mrs. Gaylord, Mrs. Noyes, Mrs. Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
Ward, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Ward, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Stone, Mrs. Breton, Mrs.
Walroth and Misses Ruth Ward, Nellie Stone, Edith Breton, Bernice, Edith and
Agnes Ward, Messers Walter Breton, Fred and Floyd Stone, Harold and Paul Ward,
Vivian Breton and Lyn Gaylord.


Additional Comments:
Which Mr. and Mrs. Ward gave the party is uncertain.  Mr. James P. Ward, and his
wife, Ora J. Hulet Ward, are the likely couple.  Mrs. Edith Ward Gaylord and
Mrs. Rhoda Noyes were James Ward's sisters.  They were three of the children of
Jacob and Lucinda Robinson Ward.  Mrs. Martha Douglas was the daughter of Edith
Ward and Eleazar Gaylord (Eleazer died July 01, 1899 in Jackson County,
Wisconsin).  James and Ora's children listed are Wilbur H. Ward (and wife Bertha
Gamble Ward) and Ruth Ward.  Bernice, Edith, Agnes Ward, Harold and Paul ward
are the children of Wilbur and Bertha Gamble Ward.  Lyn Gaylord is the grandson
of Edith Gaylord, son of Elsworth Gaylord who died Jan 1903.
