She had been ill for two years and everything that loving hands and medical skill could do was done to relieve her sufferings and prolong the beloved life. Through her long illness she ever manifested a most brave, patient and unselfish spirit. She was a girl of sweet Christian character and a faithful member of the United Presbyterian church. Until sickness forced her to relinquish work, she took an active part in the affairs of the church, Christian Endeavor society and Sunday school. Helen was the only daughter of Mr. And Mrs. M. R. Beach, and the sympathy of the entire community goes out to them in this hour of their deep sorrow. She was born in Island Lake, Lyon Co., Minnesota, on July 25, 1895, and was, therefore, 17 years, 7 months and 1 day old. She came to Morgan Hill with her parents in December 1902. In June, 1910, she graduated from the Morgan Hill Grammar school, at which time she took and important part in the class exercises. The following year she entered the High school and completed the first year’s work, when ill health forced her to leave school. The funeral will be held this afternoon at two o’clock from the Presbyterian church. The interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Additional Comments: Helen was the daughter of Milton Roy Beach & Mary Lorraine King and granddaughter of Jacob Beach & Sarah M. Roy and John R. & Carrie King. Helen is buried with her mother who died October 15, 1915, and grandparents, Jacob & Sarah M. Roy Beach.
