Anna M. Beckwith Dies in San Jose

   Mrs. Anna M. Beckwith, San Jose resident for the past 37 years, died 
Thursday, September 8, at her home after a short illness.
   The 86-year-old woman was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian 
Church.  She was a native of Minnesota.
   Survivors include a daughter, Mariam A. Baird of San Jose, a brother, 
Ellsworth Kimble and a sister Charlotte Acton, both of Morgan Hill; two 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services were conducted Saturday, September 10, in San Jose, 
followed by entombment in Oak Hill Mausoleum.

Additional Comments:
Anna Marie Kimble Beckwith was the oldest daughter of George and Mary Hatch 
Kimble.  She was born March 21, 1869 in Winona County, Minnesota.  George and 
Mary Kimble came to Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County, California in 1902.  Anna 
and her husband, Frederick Minor Beckwith, came to the area in 1918.

Daughter Marian A. Baird was born March 29, 1902 in Iowa and died August 26, 
1960 in San Mateo County, California
