“Brother-in-Law of Local Residents Dies in San Jose

   Fred M. Beckwith, brother-in-law of Mrs. John Acton and E. M. Kimble, passed
away at his home in San Jose Thursday of last week after an illness of 8 months.
   He leaves his wife, Anna M. Beckwith, sister of Mrs. Acton and Mr. Kimble; a
daughter Mariam A. Baird of San Jose, and two grandchildren Jean and Kathleen
Baird.  He was a native of Michigan
   Funeral services were held in the Roger Darling Chapel, San Jose, Saturday
afternoon, followed by entombment in Oak Hill mausoleum.”
