Campbell resident Neilynne Hartley Branagan died Sept. 2 at Good Samaritan
Hospital in Los Gatos from an aneurysm. Branagan was born Feb. 11, 1947, in
Jacksonville, Fla. She was 54.

She studied with the San Jose Ballet School and loved James Brown and the beach.

In the last five years she quit smoking and began a vigorous workout routine.
Friends and family say her inspiration and positive attitude will be greatly
missed.

Branagan is survived by her two sons, David and Michael Branagan, of San Jose;
sister Gloria Miller, of San Jose; brother Bill Hartley; and family in Phoenix,
Ariz., and San Jose.

A celebration of life service was held Sept. 7 and her ashes are being spread in
the ocean in Santa Cruz Sept. 15. For more information, call David Branagan.
