His family returned here about three months ago from Los Angeles where they had been for a couple of years. His parents were on the way here from Pittsburg, Pa., at the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his loss, his widow and three children, George, Edison and Janet, and his parents. Morgan Hill Times, May 13, 1910 The funeral of Frank Brooks was held from the family residence on San Pedro avenue Saturday afternoon, Rev. C. E. Dunham officiating. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brooks, of Pittsburg, Pa., who were on the way at the time of his death, arrived in time for the funeral. The interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery. Additional Comments: Frank was survived by his wife, Minna, sons George and Edison, and daughter Janet, per the 1910 Census. He was born Feb. 10, 1868 in Pennsylvania, per his tombstone in Mount Hope Cemetery, Morgan Hill, Santa Clara County, California.
