“Mrs. Angelini Filice Is Buried at Gilroy
Special to the Mercury Herald
      Gilroy, Dec. 7 – The remains of the late Mrs. Angelini Filice were brought 
to St. Mary’s Catholic church from the St. Helena sanitarium in Napa county.  At 
11 a.m. a solemn requiem mass for the repose of her soul was sung by the pastor, 
the Rev. P. H. Hennesy, with the Rev. A. Mazzetti as deacon and the Rev. P. 
Bertola, pastor of St. Catherine’s church at Morgan Hill as sub-deacon.  The 
Rev. A. Mazzetti of St. Joseph’s church in San Jose preached the funeral 
oration.  Friends of the deceased were present in large numbers from San Jose, 
San Juan, Morgan Hill and Gilroy to show their tribute of respect to the memory 
of the deceased.  The interment took place at St. Mary’s new Catholic cemetery 
and great sorrow is expressed over the sad loss of this young mother.

Angelina Bozzo, daughter of Carmen & Mary Bozzo, married Carmino G. Filice on 
July 6, 1913 in Santa Clara County, California.
